Unexpected And Unreasonable Subscription Fee - PDFAid

I recently used Pdfaid and signed up through their “choose a plan to download your document” page. On that page, it showed options such as 0.95 USD, 1.95 USD and a monthly 24.9 USD plan. I selected the option that charged me 1.95 USD the first time, but it was not clearly or prominently stated that this would lead to recurring subscription charges of 59 USD, nor that my card would later be billed such high amounts. After this, I was charged unexpected subscription fees on my Mastercard, once on 2 July and again on 30 July, each time 59 USD. The wording about the subscription price after the initial 1.95 USD charge was extremely unclear when I registered, and I did not receive any notice or warning email that these high amounts would be charged. When I now check, it appears the subscription fee has been increasing over time, previously 39 USD, then 49 USD, and now 59 USD, which I find unreasonable and not transparently communicated. I contacted Pdfaid support about these charges, but they replied that everything was mentioned in the terms and refused to issue any refund. I consider this practice misleading, as the pricing and subsequent charges were not clearly highlighted, and there was no proper payment notification before charging my card. If Pdfaid does not immediately process a full refund of these charges, I will view this situation as a form of internet fraud and will consider taking it further with my bank or other relevant channels. I request a full refund of both 59 USD charges and immediate cancellation of any active subscription linked to my card so that no further payments are taken without my clear and informed consent.
