Beware! This Company Has Many Complaints Regarding Unauthorized Charge
I used PDFaid on or around June 11th, paying approximately $9 for what was clearly presented and understood by me as a one-time use, not an ongoing subscription. Despite this, I later discovered that PDFaid has been charging my debit card $49 per month without my consent. So far, I have been billed $49 on July 8th 2026, August 5th 2026 and September 24th 2026. I never agreed to a $49 monthly subscription, and at no point did I knowingly sign up for recurring payments at this price. I cancelled my PDFaid subscription in June 2026, yet they have continued to charge me $49 every month since, for three months so far. When I noticed these charges, I contacted PDFaid to dispute them and cancel any possible subscription. Today I contacted support several times. Their AI system asked for my card number, then said it could not find me. When I gave my email, they said I was not in their system, yet they are sending replies to that same email address. They also claim to have no record of my debit card, even though it is the exact card they continue to charge. In my opinion, this is a subscription trap designed to make cancelling impossible and leaves me with no effective way to stop these charges or resolve the issue. If anyone else has experienced similar issues, I believe it is important to file reports at econsumer.gov and reportfraud.ftc.gov so that regulators are aware. With this many people reportedly facing the same problem, I believe there may be grounds for a broader legal review or even a class action. If you have been charged after cancelling or after a one-time “trial”, it is important to keep your bank statements, cancellation confirmations and support emails, and consider talking to a consumer protection attorney, because the more people who document this and speak up, the harder it is to ignore. I request that PDFaid immediately cancels any subscription or recurring billing linked to my details and issues a full refund of all three unauthorized $49 charges dated July 8th 2026, August 5th 2026 and September 24th 2026. I also expect a written confirmation that my data and payment method will no longer be used for any further charges.
