The core part piece I bought for my car from PartsGeek stopped functioning in under a year. What is their warranty on the auto parts they sell?

Most of the parts sold on PartsGeek's website come with a one-year limited warranty that covers problems with the materials or the way they were put together. That being said, this warranty doesn't cover electrical or normal wear and tear items. To make a warranty claim, you need to call PartsGeek's customer service within 30 days of the part breaking and show proof of purchase along with your order number. Then, PartsGeek will send you an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and instructions on how to send the broken part back.

PartsGeek will figure out what its warranty covers after receiving and inspecting the broken part. If you are eligible, they will either send you a new part or give you your money back. It's important to remember that the warranty lasts for one year from the date of purchase. The warranty doesn't cover parts that were broken because they were installed wrong, used incorrectly, or were abused.

If you have any questions about PartsGeek's warranty, you can call their customer service line at 1-800-541-9352.
