I Used Origins Face Wash and It Caused Painful Breakouts on My Clear Skin

I don’t usually have acne-prone skin, so I was shocked when Origins face wash caused inflamed breakouts all over my face. After just a few uses, I started developing painful, pus-filled pimples—something I’ve never experienced with any other skincare product. I had high expectations based on the brand’s reputation, but this product absolutely did not work for me.

I also tried their popular brown glow-boosting moisturizer, and unfortunately, it triggered the same issue—redness and breakouts almost immediately after application. I’ve now wasted money on products that not only failed to improve my skin but actually made it worse.

Origins, I trusted your skincare line and was let down in a big way. If your products aren’t suitable for sensitive or balanced skin types, that should be clearly stated. I won’t be purchasing from this brand again unless I see transparency and better quality control. If you’re considering buying this—think twice. My face and my wallet are both paying the price.
