Opodo Hotel Booking Turned Into a Disappointing Bodrum Stay
I booked a Deluxe room at Elementa Boutique Hotel through Opodo for the dates August 19–21, 2025, and paid a total of €636. However, the room I was given absolutely did not meet Deluxe room standards. The room was extremely small, had only a single-person wardrobe and shower area, the toilet space was cramped, and the balconies were connected to each other to the point that it was possible to move from one balcony to another, creating serious privacy concerns.
In addition, despite being advertised as an “Adults Only” hotel, the property was extremely noisy, and I could not sleep even at 4 AM because of the loud environment. The staff constantly disturbed us by knocking on the door either to check the minibar or to collect payment for coffee we drank near the pool. In particular, the behavior of the hotel manager felt artificial and insincere, and it seemed they were mainly focused on pleasing foreign guests.
I reported my complaints on the very first night, but no solution was provided, and the same issues continued throughout my stay. Because of these conditions, even though I had paid for three nights, I was forced to leave the hotel on the morning of the second night.
I request a refund of approximately €212 for the final unused night of my reservation on August 21.
