No Subscription but Opodo Still Charges Credit Card
I only used Opodo to purchase a flight ticket and did not buy or sign up for any Prime membership. Despite this, I noticed that on January 12, a charge of $162 was made to my İş Bankası credit card under the name “Opodo Prime.” Since I did not make any purchase, select any plan, or approve any membership, this charge was made entirely without my knowledge or consent.
It has been 13 days since I noticed this charge. During this time, I tried to contact Opodo by phone, but no one answered, and I could not find any email address to reach them. I also logged into my account to check if there was any active Prime plan or membership, but no such membership appears. I then contacted my bank, İş Bankası, canceled my card, and filed a dispute for this transaction.
I request a full refund of the $162 charged to my card without my knowledge or consent, as well as the immediate cancellation of any Opodo Prime membership associated with my account. I also request a written explanation of how and on what basis this charge was made.
