Unauthorized OkCupid Verification Codes Raise Privacy Concerns

I live in Merzifon, Amasya, Türkiye. As of today, I have started receiving verification codes on my phone for the OkCupid app through the Sinch Verify and QSMS messaging systems. I have absolutely no account, membership, login attempt, or request associated with OkCupid.

I am concerned that someone may be using my phone number and personal information without my permission to create accounts or attempt to access accounts on different apps. I am also worried that someone could be trying to access my personal or bank accounts, or that my personal information may have been compromised. This situation has caused me serious concerns about my personal and financial security.

I request that OkCupid and the relevant service providers urgently investigate all transactions, account creation attempts, and login attempts made using my phone number. I also request that you check your systems for any records associated with my phone number and personal information, identify and close any accounts that were created or attempted without my authorization, and completely prevent anyone from creating an account or attempting to log in using my number without my permission.

In addition, I request written confirmation of the findings of your security investigation and all necessary checks, including a clear explanation of the measures taken to protect my phone number and personal information.
