I live in India and on 02:32 a.m. today I made a payment of ₹149 through Google Pay using my SBI bank account on netflix.com to start a Netflix membership. The payment was successfully completed from my side, the money was deducted from my bank, but even after about 12 hours I cannot watch any shows and my account still appears as if no payment has been made.
Although the payment is fully done, Netflix is showing that I have not paid, and my membership is not active. I contacted customer care and they told me to wait until 04/04/2026 and then report again if the amount is not refunded and I still cannot use Netflix. I find this unacceptable because I have already paid and currently I have neither access to the service nor my money back.
I request that my payment of ₹149 be immediately refunded to my SBI bank account linked with Google Pay, without waiting until 04/04/2026, or that my Netflix subscription be activated right away without asking for any extra payment.
