MyIQ's Unauthorised Subscription And Unauthorised Monthly Payments
I have noticed two unexpected subscription charges on my Visa card from “MyIQ.com/AU” in Sydney, each for $29.99, dated 22/11/25 and 22/12/25. I do not know what specific product or service these charges relate to, and I have never knowingly purchased or subscribed to any service from this company. The only thing I may have done is participate in a Facebook quiz, but I would never voluntarily agree to an ongoing paid subscription for such a service. From my perspective, these are unauthorized or at least non-transparent subscription charges, as I was not clearly informed about any paid membership, recurring fee or terms. I have not previously contacted either MyIQ.com/AU or my bank about this situation, and I became aware that there appears to be a subscription only after seeing these repeated debits on my statement. I request that any subscription or membership linked to my card with MyIQ.com/AU be immediately cancelled and that a full refund be issued for both charges of $29.99 taken on 22/11/25 and 22/12/25. I also ask that no further debits be made to my card in the future and that I be informed in writing of the cancellation and refund.
