MyIQ Charges $29.99 After One-Time Test Without Consent
On December 3, I purchased a one-time IQ test on MyIQ, and the amount I approved was about $1. Despite this, a few days later—on December 10—I noticed an additional charge of $29.99 was made to my card. I did not start any subscription, and I definitely did not approve this charge.
The payments were charged to my Ziraat Bank credit card. When I contacted MyIQ after noticing the issue, they asked me to share my card number, which I did not feel comfortable doing, as this did not seem like a secure or trustworthy request. I was told that the subscription was canceled, but no refund was issued for the $29.99 that was charged to my card.
These transactions are clearly visible in my account statements. I am requesting that the unauthorized $29.99 charge be refunded immediately, and if possible, that the refund be made directly to my IBAN via bank transfer (wire/EFT) rather than back to my credit card.
