MyIQ Charged €29.99 Twice Without Consent After Online IQ Test
My name is Torotko Irina, and I live in Minsk, Belarus. I am writing regarding unauthorized charges related to an online IQ test by MyIQ. I found the MyIQ test through an advertisement or link on Facebook or Instagram and completed the test there.
On December 20, an amount of €29.99 was charged to my Visa card issued by a Belarusian bank, and on January 12, another €29.99 was charged, even though I did not subscribe to or approve any subscription. I only took the IQ test and did not give informed consent to any paid services. Despite this, two separate charges were deducted from my account. In my bank statement, both transactions appear with MyIQ listed as the merchant.
At the moment, the MyIQ website is blocked in my country, and I cannot access my account or any contact or support form to cancel a possible subscription or clarify the situation. When I tried to open the website today, nothing loaded at all, so I have no way to manage or stop these charges directly through their platform.
I demand a full refund to my card for both charges of €29.99 (dated December 20 and January 12) and the immediate and permanent cancellation of any existing subscription or recurring payment associated with my IQ test. I also request written confirmation that no further charges will be made to my account in the future.
