MyIQ App Charged My Account Without Authorization
I am writing regarding the myIQ mobile app, which I downloaded from the Apple App Store in Australia, and the unauthorized subscription payments that have been taken from my account without my consent. Over the past two months, about $100 has been debited from my bank account as subscription payments to myIQ. I did not start any free trial, did not make any in‑app purchase, and did not authorize any subscription of any kind. For this reason, I treated the situation as fraud and went directly to my bank’s fraud department at NAB, who are now handling the matter and can provide you with all transaction details. I request that myIQ immediately cancel any subscription that has been created in my name and issue a full refund of all unauthorized payments taken from my account. I also expect a clear explanation of how a subscription was started without my authority and confirmation that no further charges will be made.
