My Trip Online Attempted Unauthorized $120 Charge After HiSky Check-In
I am filing this complaint regarding an unauthorized attempt by My Trip Online to charge my credit card without my knowledge or consent. A few days ago, I paid $1 (€1) for a simple flight check-in on the HiSky website. While I may have inadvertently clicked a link associated with My Trip Online during that transaction, I absolutely never authorized any high-value recurring subscription or separate payment.
On May 14, 2026, at 7:31 PM, I received an SMS alert from my bank, İşbank, stating that a transaction of $120 (€70) under the merchant descriptor "PXT*mytriponlinecom" was blocked due to fraud prevention protocols. My bank called me three consecutive times to confirm the suspicious activity, forcing me to immediately cancel my credit card to protect my account.
I demand a thorough written explanation from My Trip Online regarding this unauthorized billing attempt, a complete purge of my credit card and personal data from their systems, and explicit written confirmation that no further charge attempts will be made. Attempting to extract funds without clear consumer authorization is deeply unethical, and I expect this matter to be investigated and resolved immediately.
