On February 24, I made an online payment with my credit card for a subscription on mSpy that was displayed as $1. However, after completing the payment, I noticed that instead of $1, my card was charged $55. Even though the price was shown in Turkish lira on the screen, the charge was made in U.S. dollars without my knowledge and for a much higher amount, which caused me serious inconvenience.
As soon as I noticed the issue, I sent multiple emails to mSpy, but for days I did not receive a proper, clear, or solution-oriented response. The company neither provided transparent information nor gave a clear explanation acknowledging their mistake. After that, I contacted Yapı Kredi, and my bank initiated the necessary procedures; the refund was processed on March 8 thanks to Yapı Kredi.
Although my issue was resolved through my bank, I am extremely dissatisfied with mSpy due to their incorrect and misleading pricing, as well as their indifferent, slow, and unsatisfactory communication with customers. I am writing this complaint so that other users are aware of the inconvenience I experienced and the unfair overcharge caused by the exchange rate difference.
