I’ve just been blocked from logging into my Metin2 account for the second time, all because I reported cheaters. It’s absolutely absurd. This game has turned a blind eye to bots and hacks for over 10–15 years, and at this point there are only two possible explanations: either the company itself is selling these cheats, or they’re making money from those who do. Otherwise, there’s no excuse for letting this problem go on for more than a decade without real action.
Six days ago, I submitted video recordings of five different characters openly using bots and hacks, ruining the experience for everyone else. Instead of punishing those accounts, today I woke up to find my own account banned. To make it worse, one of my accounts that I haven’t even used in four days was suddenly blocked yesterday for so-called “bot usage.” Meanwhile, the actual cheaters I reported are still active with zero consequences.
This sends a very clear message from Metin2’s management: don’t mess with the system we’ve set up, bots are untouchable, and if you’re bothered by them, we’ll ban you instead. It honestly feels like they’re saying, “Bots are our source of income, and we’re not letting you interfere with that.”
It’s a slap in the face to every legitimate player. If cheaters aren’t going to be punished, and honest players are treated as the problem, how are we supposed to keep playing? This system is broken, unfair, and driving the community away. Metin2 needs to take immediate and transparent action against cheaters instead of silencing those who report them.
