Meta Permanently Disabled My Facebook Account Without Fair Review
On July 5, 2026, Meta permanently disabled my personal Facebook account, which I had actively used since 2004 or 2005, claiming that it did not comply with its Terms of Service regarding who may use the platform. This account was also the administrator of a Facebook page with a large following, so when my personal account was disabled, I also lost access to the page I had spent years building.
I submitted an appeal asking Meta to review the decision, but my request was denied, and I was informed that I would not be allowed to submit another appeal. As a result, I have been left with no way to request a further review. My Facebook account contained not only years of personal posts but also irreplaceable photos and memories of my late spouse that were not backed up anywhere else. Losing access to this account has effectively taken away memories that can never be replaced.
I respectfully request that Meta manually review my case and restore both my personal Facebook account and the Facebook page connected to it. I also ask that my access to my account data, including my personal photos and memories, be restored as soon as possible.
