New Mercedes GLB200+ Has Warning Light From Day One
On May 21, 2026, I purchased a brand-new Mercedes-Benz GLB200+ from Mercedes-Benz Mengerler Adana. On the very first day I took delivery of the vehicle, a yellow warning light appeared on the dashboard, and the problem has continued for approximately one month. Experiencing a warning light on a brand-new vehicle has been extremely disappointing and has raised serious concerns about the vehicle's reliability and safety.
During this period, I returned the vehicle to the authorized Mercedes-Benz service center three separate times. On each visit, I was told that a software update had been performed and that the issue had been resolved. However, shortly after each repair, the same yellow warning light reappeared. The repeated failure of the same issue within such a short period makes me believe that the vehicle has a hidden manufacturing defect. In addition, while my vehicle remained at the service center, I was not provided with a loaner vehicle, which significantly disrupted my daily transportation.
Because Mercedes-Benz has been unable to provide a permanent and reliable repair for a brand-new vehicle that continues to display the same warning light, I request that my Mercedes-Benz GLB200+ be replaced with an equivalent new vehicle. I also ask Mercedes-Benz to take into account the inconvenience I experienced, including the lack of a replacement vehicle, and resolve this matter in accordance with my consumer rights.
