Meitu Free Plan Turned Into a Paid Annual Subscription Without Consent

On November 13, 2025, I downloaded the Meitu application and started using it under what was presented as a free plan. However, today I discovered that approximately $29 had been charged to my Garanti Bank card for an annual package without any prior notification, approval request, reminder, or clear consent from me.

I never approved any transition to a paid subscription plan, and I did not receive any email, SMS, or in-app warning regarding this charge. For that reason, I absolutely do not accept this transaction and believe it was an unfair and unauthorized billing practice.

I demand the immediate cancellation of this transaction and a full refund of the approximately $29 withdrawn from my card. Otherwise, I will exercise all of my legal rights, including filing complaints with the Consumer Arbitration Committee and pursuing action through the appropriate legal authorities.
