On August 6, 2024, I downloaded the Meditopia app for its one-week free trial. Before the trial ended, I selected "Yes" to receive a reminder notification, but I never received one. Then, on August 12, 2024, they charged my credit card ₺649 without warning.
I noticed the charge the next day and immediately requested a refund through Apple. In the past, I’ve successfully received refunds for unused subscriptions, but Meditopia rejected my request. I tried two more times, and they denied my refund again.
As a Turkish company, Meditopia is subject to Turkish laws, which grant consumers a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance sales. I never used the app after being charged, and I requested a refund just one day later.
I demand an immediate refund to my card. If this issue isn’t resolved, I will file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board, and Meditopia will be responsible for expert and legal fees. Fix this mistake now!
