FaceApp Charged Me for 12-Month Plan Without My Consent After Free Trial
FaceApp offered a one-week free trial, and I accepted thinking I could evaluate the app risk-free. But to my shock, once the trial period ended, they automatically charged ₺1000 from my account for a 12-month subscription—without my explicit permission or any confirmation request. I never authorized such a large purchase, and I was not even notified before the charge was processed.
I reached out to FaceApp support and clearly requested the subscription be canceled and my money refunded, but they’ve done nothing to help so far. This kind of unauthorized transaction feels deceptive and unacceptable. I never would have started the free trial if I knew it would lead to this.
I demand that FaceApp process my refund immediately. This charge was made without my full consent, and I feel completely misled. I will escalate this issue through all available consumer protection channels if this isn’t resolved promptly.
