Cancellation Of My LifePoints Account
I had been a Lifepoints member for several years and had collected 4,900 points through completing online surveys. About a month ago, I tried to redeem my points for PayPal payouts, specifically one $25, one $10, and one $5 reward. When I attempted this, I was informed that the reward was out of stock. Shortly after I questioned this situation, my account was locked without warning. When I contacted Lifepoints support, I was told that my account had been canceled and my points confiscated because I had supposedly broken the terms and conditions. However, they refused to tell me which rule I allegedly violated or how I had broken it. I never received any clear explanation, only a statement that I had breached the terms. I spent many hours over several years completing surveys in good faith and building up these 4,900 points. Having my account suddenly canceled and my points taken away, without a specific reason or transparent explanation, has completely broken my trust in the platform. Because of this experience, I do not wish to continue doing surveys with Lifepoints. I am requesting that Lifepoints either restore my 4,900 points long enough for me to redeem them or directly issue the PayPal rewards I tried to claim, totaling $40, in recognition of the time and effort I have already invested. I also expect a clear and specific explanation of any alleged violation if Lifepoints continues to insist that I broke the terms and conditions.
