LG GR-H802HQHJ Refrigerator Doors Open Automatically

I purchased an LG GR-H802HQHJ refrigerator from Teknosa in Van around October 2023. From the first day, I noticed that when I close the lower door, the upper door opens by itself, and when I close the upper door, the lower one sometimes opens. Because of this, I constantly have to go back and check the doors to prevent my food from spoiling. The authorized service replaced the door seals that they considered faulty, checked whether the floor was level and adjusted the refrigerator’s feet. Despite several service visits, the problem did not improve. During the last visit, the technicians stated that they could not resolve the issue and that they would report the situation to LG’s head office. Since then, I have made numerous phone calls and sent WhatsApp messages, but LG has not provided any effective solution. The head office replied that the doors opening due to a vacuum effect was normal. I do not find this explanation acceptable, especially considering that the doors are left open without me noticing and this directly threatens food safety. In addition, the promised return calls were not made, and my request to speak with the regional manager was left unanswered. I spent the entire summer trying to resolve this issue and, to avoid the risk of my food spoiling, I even had to buy an extra freezer. It is not acceptable for a refrigerator that is less than three years old to remain faulty for months despite repeated service interventions. I preferred LG because I trusted the brand and its after‑sales service, but this process has been very disappointing for me. I have kept all correspondence and service reports throughout this process. I request that this ongoing malfunction be resolved permanently, that I be given a written and technically detailed explanation of LG’s claim that this situation is “normal” and that I be contacted directly by an authorized manager. If the fault cannot be definitively fixed, I expect an appropriate remedy in line with my consumer rights.
