LCW Charged Me More Than the Label Price and the Manager Treated Me Badly
On 21.03.2025, I bought 4 pairs of trousers from LCW - Waikiki Maltepe Carrefour store. After paying, I tore off the labels while leaving them for the trousers. I involuntarily added up the numbers on them and the difference was what I paid. I took my products back and brought them to the cashier named N*** E***, who also wrote on the receipt. I told him that there was a mistake here and when he checked, he told me that the label they put on 1 pair of trousers was wrong and that he should call the person named Ö*** A***, whom he stated as his manager, and he said that the label was wrong. I stated that as a consumer, I should take whatever is written on the label. However, Ö***'s attitude and attitude of saying let's take the product back directly were very wrong. In fact, he displayed speeches and attitudes that are not worthy of the department he is in, with his threatening, indifferent attitude of saying I do not take returns, I return them to you. I am complaining about Mr. Ö*** as a LCW customer. He is harming your store in this way and alienating us. My request from you is that you provide training for this person's attitude and behavior. LCW THREATENED THE WRONG PRICE LABEL AND DID NOT TAKE THE PRODUCT BACK AS REQUIRED BY LAW "It was anticipated that there may be a difference between the shelf (label) price and the case price, and a legal regulation was made in favor of the consumer on this issue. The relevant regulation was made in Article 54 of the Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, which is the fundamental law of consumers. Article 54/2 of the Law states that "In case of a difference between the price stated in the label, tariff and price lists and the case price, the PRICE IN FAVOR OF THE CONSUMER SHALL BE APPLIED." NOT APPLYING IT AND THREATENING ME BY SAYING I WILL EITHER TAKE THE PRODUCT BACK OR NOT. I have a complaint against STORE MANAGER ÖZKAN AZBAY. This person should be given training, otherwise he is an employee who does not deserve LCW. Thank you.
