Kosmos Visa Services Greece Cruise Visa Appointment Issue

In November 2023, I booked a Greece cruise. As visa applications are required 3 months before travel, I started trying to schedule an appointment in late April. However, May and June slots were completely filled. I relentlessly tried booking an appointment every day, at all times of the day - morning, noon, evening, afternoon, and even late at night. No luck.

I hoped to secure a slot in July, either when it opened or if someone canceled or rescheduled theirs. Today, July appointments opened, but again, there were no available slots.

With such high demand, why doesn't the Greek embassy hire additional staff or open temporary branches during peak seasons? Why put people through this misery? There are numerous alternative solutions that could be implemented, but why aren't they? I sent an email, and their response was that the system opens and closes periodically. Well, it's not opening enough, and it's causing immense frustration.

How can someone spend two months trying to schedule a visa appointment for a vacation? This is absurd! I demand an immediate solution to this situation.
