Kiwi.com Refund Still Missing Four Months After Cancellation
On May 6, I purchased a ticket through Kiwi.com for a flight from Ankara to Istanbul to Casablanca. On the same day, I requested to cancel my flight and was told that a €30 cancellation fee would be deducted and the remaining amount would be refunded to my original payment method. Since then, approximately four months have passed without me receiving any refund, and I have repeatedly been given the runaround.
About a month ago, I received an email from Kiwi.com stating that the refund for my reservation had been processed. In subsequent emails, I was told that the refund had been issued, that I should check my credit card, and that the payment might take some time to appear in the banking system. Despite this, no refund ever appeared in my account. I was later told that the refund would actually never be processed and that no refund would be issued, but these contradictory statements were never explained. Kiwi.com now appears to be denying the emails they previously sent, as if they had never promised me a refund. Throughout this process, I have clearly felt that I have been unfairly deprived of my money.
My reservation number is 782181741. As promised when I canceled on May 6, I request that the full remaining amount, after deducting the €30 cancellation fee, be refunded immediately and in full to the payment method I used to purchase the ticket. I also request that the hardship caused by the contradictory and misleading information I received throughout this process be taken into consideration and that the necessary investigation be conducted to prevent similar situations from happening to other customers.
