I purchased a flight ticket for my April 22, 2026 Amsterdam–Ankara trip through Kiwi.com with reservation number 757 009 473 and PNR code M22FNM, paying a total of $120. About three days after purchasing the ticket, the airline changed the flight date, which resulted in the cancellation of my original flight. When I contacted the airline, they clearly stated that they would issue a full refund with no deductions.
Despite this, Kiwi.com informed me that, based on their own policies, they would deduct a €30 “cancellation fee” per person per flight during the refund process. In the message they sent me, they stated that even if the airline refunds the ticket in full, they will still apply this deduction as part of their company policy. I did not cancel the flight voluntarily—the cancellation was due to the airline’s schedule change, which forced me into the refund process.
In a situation where the airline itself provides a full refund due to its own change, I do not find it fair for the intermediary company, Kiwi.com, to impose an additional €30 deduction. I request that the full $120 I paid be refunded to me in the same manner as it is received from the airline, without any service or cancellation fee deductions.
