I Face KitchenAid Mixer Coating Peeling And Bowl Scratches On A New Machine
On June 8, I purchased a KitchenAid SKU 5KSM175PSEER stand mixer from the Papatya Home seller through Hepsiburada. I used the product no more than three times in total. Despite such limited use, the coating on the silicone mixing attachment started peeling, and scratches also appeared inside the mixing bowl. Since the product is both very new and quite expensive, this was extremely disappointing.
As soon as I noticed the problem, I first contacted the seller. However, instead of handling the issue directly, they immediately referred me to the authorized service center. Considering how new the product was and how little it had been used, I was also disappointed that the seller did not take a more active role and simply told me to send it for service. I did not receive the level of support I expected from the seller, and they only contacted me after I reached out to the service center.
On June 29, I sent the product to the service center. The service center replaced the silicone mixing attachment, but I was told that the bowl would not be replaced and that the same bowl would be returned to me. I also sent the bowl to the service center on the first Friday of July, and it is still there. The attachments have already been returned to me, but the company continues to refuse a bowl replacement and wants to send the same scratched bowl back.
Since I experienced these issues less than one month after purchasing the product, and because I am concerned that the painted or coated mixing attachment may develop the same peeling problem again in the future, I am requesting a complete product replacement.
I believe the attachments should be made from durable materials such as stainless steel and should not develop peeling or coating damage after only a few uses. I request that my complaint be resolved as soon as possible and that the entire mixer be replaced with a new, defect-free unit.
