Kaspersky Nexway Charged My Account Without Consent
On April 20, 2025, ₺550 was withdrawn from my Yapı Kredi bank account without my authorization by Kaspersky Nexway. The most frustrating part is that I am not an active Nexway subscriber, nor do I currently use Kaspersky software. I haven't initiated any renewal, nor did I approve any transaction related to them.
I used to be a Kaspersky customer years ago, but I never knowingly opted into a recurring subscription or authorized any auto-renewals. Perhaps I didn’t go through the full cancellation steps back then—but even so, that does not justify withdrawing money from my account without clear consent.
I also never stored my banking or card information on any of their platforms, which raises serious concerns about how they accessed my financial details in the first place. This seems like an unauthorized charge, and I believe it's related to a subscription I never reactivated or renewed myself.
