Nike Alpha Trainer 6 Sole Makes Loud Sticky Noise; Intersport Blames User Error

About a year ago, I purchased a pair of Nike Alpha Trainer 6 sneakers from the Intersport Optimum store in İzmir. While there is no issue when I first put them on in the morning, after 1–2 hours of wear, the soles begin making an annoying sound as if there is a sticky substance underneath them. The noise worsens with continued use, disrupting my comfort and creating an embarrassing situation in public settings.

Through my own research, I discovered that many other users have experienced this exact same issue. Consequently, on August 4, 2026, I handed the shoes over to the Intersport İzmir Optimum store for technical inspection. On August 9, 2026, I received a response directly rejecting my claim as "user error" without providing any logical explanation. Labeling this as user error—when I used the shoes normally and the problem is entirely product-related—is deeply disappointing given the brand name and price paid.

I paid approximately $110 (4,000 TL) for these shoes via credit card, and I refuse to accept that a product at this price point degrades and makes such noises after normal use. I demand that the shoes undergo an independent and impartial re-inspection, and upon confirmation of the defect, that my money be refunded or the shoes be exchanged for a defect-free pair. Furthermore, I ask for a detailed and transparent explanation rather than being dismissed with a generic "user error" response.
