Intersport Rejects Claim on Defective New Balance 878 Shoes Worn Only Once

About a month ago, I purchased a pair of New Balance 878 shoes from Intersport's online outlet sale. I wore the shoes only once, but I noticed a severe structural issue in the toe box and big toe area—my big toe practically sticks out, making the shoes completely unsuitable for normal wear.

I contacted customer service regarding this issue and sent the product in for technical inspection. Following the inspection, my claim was rejected and no solution was offered. Encountering such a defect after wearing the shoes briefly and only a single time is completely unacceptable in terms of both quality and customer satisfaction.

Due to this clear defect that ruins the wearability and comfort of the shoe, I demand an exchange or, if that is not possible, a full refund. I request that my grievance be resolved and that this matter be re-evaluated with a focus on customer satisfaction.
