Instagram Suspends Account for “Sexual Content” That Was Political Post
As of March 23, 2026, my personal Instagram account was suspended without any valid reason.
On March 22, 2026, I shared an animated-style post related to the presidents of Israel and the United States. The next day, when I logged into my Facebook account and was automatically redirected to my linked Instagram account, I saw that my account had been suspended. The stated reason was that I had shared “sexual content” in violation of community guidelines.
However, I have never shared any sexual content on my account. The post in question was purely political and critical in nature.
On the suspension screen, I was only given a basic “appeal” button, without any option to provide a detailed explanation, defense, or additional context. As a result, I was not able to properly communicate my position regarding this clearly incorrect decision. Additionally, I did not receive any further explanation via email or notification during this process.
I find Instagram’s approach to be biased and inconsistent. Using “sexual content” as a justification to restrict political expression does not align with fair, transparent, or objective content moderation.
I request that my account be reinstated, that this wrongful suspension be corrected, and that content moderation processes be applied in a fair, impartial, and consistent manner for all users.
Meta, using Facebook and Instagram, is openly supporting Israel's genocide, and to do this, they shamelessly spread false accusations and blocked all my accounts together.
Both my Facebook and Instagram accounts were completely blocked on the grounds of sexual content sharing because I posted the Amigo girl versions of the US and Israeli presidents.
My Instagram account was unjustly suspended under the pretext of sexual content because I shared political content. The ability to appeal was limited to a ready-made button, and I couldn't provide a detailed explanation. I received no response or explanation from the brand, and this situation has greatly disappointed me. My complaint has not yet received a solution. Additionally, I think the Instagram team behaves like a MOSSAD agent, being biased and deceptive.
