Instagram Suspended My Account and My Username Now Says It Does Not Exist
I am writing regarding the suspension and loss of access to my Instagram account, which had around 11.1k followers and where I was in contact with my friends and community. About 8 days ago my account was suspended and I was asked to submit an appeal, including a video selfie verification, which I completed as requested. Despite following all the steps, I still could not access my account, and eventually I logged out. Now, when I try to log in again via the Chrome browser using my username, email and other details, Instagram says that the username does not exist, as if my account has disappeared completely. I have tried every recovery method available, including the “Forgot password” options and all the help center steps I could find, but nothing has helped me regain access to my account. I have received no clear information or explanation about why this happened or what the current status of my account is. I kindly request that my Instagram account be recovered and reactivated as soon as possible so that I can regain access to my 11.1k followers and my friends. If reactivation is not possible, I at least expect a clear and detailed explanation of why my account was suspended and why it now appears as if the username does not exist.
