My personal Instagram account, username "21llyaso," was suspended on April 2nd citing "account integrity" reasons. I immediately appealed the suspension and completed all required identity verification steps as instructed. Despite this, my appeal was rejected and my account was permanently disabled. I had no prior policy violations on the account. It had been suspended once before, but was successfully restored. This time, however, my account was permanently closed without any clear explanation, even after I submitted an appeal.
My account held years' worth of personal photos, memories, and contact information for my friends. I submitted support requests and filled out forms through every official channel available, including Instagram support, Facebook support, and Business support channels. I was ultimately told that my account would not be reinstated and that this was a "final decision" — yet no clear or understandable explanation was provided as to why, and I was never told which specific policy I had allegedly violated.
I believe I have not violated any policies, and I am requesting that my personal account — which I have used for years — be reactivated following a thorough review. If a violation is genuinely believed to have occurred, I am asking that it be explained to me clearly and specifically, and that my account be returned to me.
