Instagram Account Recovery Not Working Without Old Phone Number

I have been unable to access my Instagram account, which belongs to me and uses the username “A****. Shnn,” since around October 2026. This situation has caused me significant distress because my account contains my memories and photos and serves as my only means of communication with the people around me.

Since I have forgotten my password, I have been following the “Forgot Password” recovery steps. However, the system only offers the option to receive a verification code via WhatsApp. The phone number linked to my account is no longer in my possession, and I have no access to that number. I also cannot access the Gmail address associated with the account, which means I am unable to complete the password reset process through any available method.

I am attaching a screenshot of my profile and ask that you take into consideration the fact that the account belongs to me. The account has the username “A****. Shnn,” has 0 posts, 350 followers, and follows 327 accounts. I am willing to provide any additional information required to verify my identity.

I request that the Instagram and Meta support teams investigate this matter and help me regain access to my account. I also ask for assistance with recovering my account without relying on the old phone number linked to it so that I can complete the password reset process and access my profile again.
