I Face Instagram Closing My Account Due to Unauthorized Email Use
On April 6, 2026, I experienced a very serious issue with Instagram. An account was created using my email address without my knowledge or consent. That account was later suspended and closed, and because of this, my personal Instagram account linked to the same email address was also disabled.
At this point, I have no access to my own account at all. I submitted appeals through Instagram support and sent three consecutive emails, but my appeals were rejected, and I did not receive any response to the emails I sent.
As a result, I have lost access to my account and cannot find any support or resolution, even though I am clearly in the right. I request that Instagram restore my personal account that was disabled due to a fake account created using my email address and resolve the issue I am facing.
On 06.04.2026, a fake Instagram account was created using my email address without my permission; this account was suspended and closed, and as a result my own personal account was also closed, completely cutting off my access. I sent three appeal emails to the Instagram support team but received no response, so I am requesting that my account be reopened and my grievance be resolved. So far, the brand has provided no answer or progress, and this situation has left me disappointed.
