If your ILIFE robot vacuum has stopped charging or doesn’t return to the base, the issue is usually related to poor contact, incorrect base placement, battery wear, or sensor problems. Here’s what to do step by step:
Check the base and power supply.
Make sure the dock is firmly plugged into a working outlet and the indicator light is on.
Clean the charging contacts.
Dust or oxidation on the robot’s contacts and the dock’s pins can prevent charging. Wipe them with a soft dry cloth (you may lightly use alcohol, then let them dry).
Ensure the robot is switched on.
Some models won’t charge if the physical power switch is off. Set it to “ON” before docking.
Place the dock correctly.
Keep it on a flat surface with clear space on the sides and front so the robot can detect the infrared signal.
Restart or reset the robot.
Turn it off for a minute, then back on. A factory reset may fix software issues.
Check the battery condition.
An old or worn battery may not hold a charge and might need replacement.
Review error codes.
Check the manual if lights blink or sounds play.
