Hotmail Account Hacked and Recovery Information Changed Without Permission
I have been using my Hotmail account for more than 10 years, and about one week ago my account was hacked. After this incident, both the recovery phone number and the recovery email address linked to my Hotmail account were changed without my permission, so I completely lost access. I tried to recover my account through Microsoft’s support process, but the system only sends a one-time password to the recovery email address, which has also been hacked. Because of this, I am stuck in a loop and cannot verify my identity or regain access, even though I am the legitimate owner of the account. This Hotmail address is linked to my bank account, which makes the situation even more critical for me. Although I have not yet noticed any suspicious activity in my bank account, I am very worried about possible future risks because I cannot control the email address connected to it. I request that my ownership of this Hotmail account be verified through alternative security methods that do not rely on the compromised recovery email or phone, and that my access be restored as soon as possible. I also ask for all suspicious sessions and changes made after the hacking date to be reviewed and for necessary security measures to be taken to protect my personal data and linked accounts.
