Honor Pad 10 Defective Screen and Keyboard Complaint
On August 22, 2026, I purchased an Honor Pad 10 2.63 GHz tablet with 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, and a 12.1-inch Android display, along with a keyboard, from the Vatan Bilgisayar store at Forum Istanbul in Bayrampaşa, Istanbul. Just one day after purchasing the product, the tablet developed a severe screen flickering problem. The display constantly flickered as if it were about to malfunction. Because of this, I was unable to use the product at all and sent it to the service center, requesting a replacement. However, my replacement request was rejected.
When the product was returned from service, I noticed another problem while checking it. One of the keyboard keys came off in my hand, despite there being no impact, drop, or user error. The screen flickering problem was also still present. When I sent the product to the service center again, I was charged $112 solely for the keyboard key, while no action was taken regarding the screen flickering issue. Service record number 99MS0059751 and the fee information stated on the service document also support this situation.
Neither my refund request nor my replacement request has been accepted. The product has not worked properly for even a single day and is currently still at the service center. Despite contacting both Honor and Vatan Bilgisayar, I have not been offered any solution and my complaint remains unresolved. For this product, which I believe is defective, I request a replacement with a new unit at no additional cost or, if possible, a full refund. Otherwise, I would like to state that I will continue to pursue the matter through the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
