HintUs Took R514.08 Twice After a One-Time Sketch Purchase

I recently discovered that monthly charges are being made by a company listed as “Hint.US / HintUs” on my husband’s credit card, even though I believed I had fully paid for a one-time sketch. I was charged R514.08 on January 18, 2026, and again R514.08 on January 23, 2026, and I do not understand why these recurring payments are being deducted. I paid for a sketch that I understood to be a single, once-off purchase, and I received the completed sketch by email on December 19, 2026. At no point was it clearly communicated that I was signing up for a monthly subscription or any form of recurring billing. On the bank statement, the charge appears only as “HintUs” with no reference number, which makes it very difficult to trace or cancel on our end. I have attempted to resolve this issue but have been unable to find any contact details for Hint.US, and our bank has informed us that they cannot take further action regarding these debits. As a result, these charges are continuing without my consent or a clear explanation. I request that these recurring payments be stopped immediately, that any active subscription or automatic billing linked to my husband’s credit card be fully canceled, and that I receive a full or at least partial refund of the amounts already charged (R514.08 on January 18, 2026, and R514.08 on January 23, 2026). I also request written confirmation that no further charges will be made to our card in the future.
