I am writing to report an unauthorized charge made by HintApp and to request a full refund. On March 30th, my account was billed 44.99 CAD under the description “HINT APP L6800 4029357733 DE,” even though I did not authorize any such subscription or transaction. Previously, I only authorized a single small purchase in HintApp for a sketch, which was correctly charged as a 0.99 CAD payment and a 1.00 CAD payment via PayPal. I did not agree to start any subscription, trial, or recurring payment beyond this one-time purchase, and I am certain that my intention was limited to that sketch transaction only. After noticing the unexpected 44.99 CAD charge, I contacted my bank, but they informed me that there was nothing they could do and advised me to contact HintApp directly. Since this payment was not authorized as a subscription and there is no valid consent from my side for such a recurring or higher amount, I consider this charge to be improper. I request that the 44.99 CAD charged on March 30th be fully refunded to my account and that any related subscription or recurring payment associated with “HINT APP L6800 4029357733 DE” be cancelled immediately so that no further charges are made without my explicit consent.
