If Happn crashes whenever you open messages and you want to fix it;
Check for app updates first;
• Go to App Store / Google Play
• Search “Happn”
• Install the latest version
• Restart your phone
Clear cache (Android only);
• Settings → Apps → Happn → Storage
• Tap “Clear Cache”
• Reopen the app
Force close and reopen;
• Settings → Apps → Happn
• Tap “Force Stop”
• Open the app again
Check storage space;
• Go to Phone Settings → Storage
• Make sure you have free space available
• Delete unused apps/files if storage is full
Disable VPN or unstable connection;
• Turn off VPN
• Switch between WiFi and mobile data
• Ensure stable internet
Reinstall the app;
• Delete Happn
• Restart your device
• Reinstall from official store
• Log back in
Check OS updates;
• Go to Settings → Software Update
• Install latest system update
Test messages on another device (if possible);
• Log in from a different phone
• Check if messages open normally
Contact Happn Support if issue continues;
• Provide:
– Username/email
– Device model
– OS version
– App version
– Screenshot or screen recording of crash
If unresolved, consider filing a complaint on Xolvie to pursue a resolution.
