Google One isn’t syncing my phone backup, how can I fix it?

Here’s how to get Google One backups working correctly:

Make sure your Android has a stable internet link, preferably Wi-Fi, and make sure that auto-sync and backup are turned on in Settings > Google Backup. Also, make sure that the Google One app is up to date and using enough space.

If backups still don't work, go to Settings > Apps and clear the cache and data for Google Play Services, Google One, and the Google app.

Then, restart your device and try a manual backup in Settings > Google > Backup > Back up now.

Also, make sure that your phone's date and time are set to automatic and that any battery-saving modes are turned off.

If you need to, remove and re-add your Google account in Settings > Accounts to update your sync details.

Start a new backup and wait up to 24 hours after making these changes. Google One backups can take that long, especially after setup or big changes.
