I Need Google to Help Recover My Hacked Gmail Account

I am writing to report that my Gmail account, which I access via my Android phone, appears to have been hacked. I am no longer able to use my account as before, and I suspect that someone else has gained unauthorized access and changed my login information. Until now, I have not been able to resolve this issue, and I have not used any recovery options such as “Forgot password” or direct contact with Google support.
