I Can’t Change My Phone Number on Gate.io Despite Submitting All Required Documents
I’ve been trying to recover access to my Gate.io account, but I can no longer access the phone number linked to it. I submitted all the required documents, including my ID and photos, to request a phone number change, but no one has responded. It’s been a frustrating and unproductive experience.
There’s money in my account, but since I haven’t logged in for a long time, I don’t remember the exact last login date—I had to estimate one. Still, that shouldn’t prevent proper service. I was even asked to upload additional documents, which I tried to send via Google Drive. But the system gave an “Invalid Parameter” error and didn’t even offer a file upload option for that field.
Customer service is unresponsive and extremely slow. I’ve reached out multiple times, but I haven’t received any meaningful help. I’m asking Gate.io to provide real support and fix this broken process. I have funds in my account and deserve proper access and service. Please prioritize this issue and assist with updating my phone number so I can regain control of my account.
