I haven’t been able to access my Gate.io account for the past 15 days. The problem is that I had previously removed the Google Authenticator app, so I can no longer enter the two-factor authentication (2FA) code required for login.
I still have access to the email address I used to create the account, but during login, Gate.io only asks for the Google Authenticator code — it doesn’t offer any alternative verification method, such as email or SMS authentication.
So far, I haven’t been able to reach Gate.io’s support team for help. While I don’t have a large balance in the account, I still want to regain access to it.
I kindly request that the Gate.io support team contact me via my registered email or phone number and assist me in restoring access to my account.
