Regarding a recent incident with the Gate.io cryptocurrency exchange, I am writing to convey my profound dissatisfaction and worry. The unexpected closure (liquidation) of four of my trading positions occurred despite my setting very low liquidation levels.
The administration at Gate.io was unconcerned when I contacted them regarding this matter; all they said was, "Sir, your liquidation levels have increased." This justification falls short of what I was hoping for and fails to address the main point of my grievance.
The following is an account of what happened:
I sold all of my XRP at $0.3880, when the price was about $0.35 on the market.
Closing at $0.04975, my FLM position was up from approximately $0.0350.
A rise from $0.0400 resulted in the liquidation of my OGN trade at $0.0726.
My position as of the close of business on GMT was $1.176, up from around $0.10.
These positions were all closed against my will, even though they were significantly lower than my liquidation levels. I have suffered a substantial financial loss due to this sort of system malfunction or mismanagement, which is completely unacceptable.
