On May 6, 2025, I opened a short position on the AIOT/USDT trading pair at around the 0.45 USDT level on Gate.io. But strangely, my position was liquidated when the price dropped to 0.43—well within what should have been a profitable range. This made absolutely no sense, so I contacted Gate.io support to investigate.
Their response was vague and completely unsatisfactory. They claimed that “sometimes candles may not be visible,” which is a ridiculous excuse when real money is on the line. I expected a transparent explanation backed by data, not a brush-off based on a technicality that doesn’t even appear on the chart.
Does Gate.io run its futures market with different hidden rules? Why was my position liquidated below the entry price? I demand a full and clear investigation into this issue, and compensation for the unfair liquidation of my position. Traders deserve transparency—not cryptic excuses.
