Gate.io exchange has not processed my email change request for 20 days. My email address was closed by Microsoft. I am unable to withdraw funds from Binance and Gate exchanges because email confirmation is required. I contacted customer service for both companies.
Binance resolved the issue in one day, but Gate.io has been stalling me for 20 days. They asked for a video, photo, ID information, details of my recent coin transactions, and deposit history. I answered all their questions, but they keep coming in parts. They ask something, then there's no response. After 3 days, I follow up, and they ask another question, making me wait another 2 days.
The same questions keep being asked. I can log into my account because login does not require email confirmation. I have face recognition, ID verification, phone verification, and Authenticator enabled. However, they refuse to change my email, causing me distress, and they act as if I am making a frivolous email change request.
Gate.io seems to have found a way to seize users' funds. They do whatever they want, and it's impossible to hold them accountable. Unfortunately.
