Freestyle Libre 2 Sensor Fails Completely After 6 Days of Intermittent Signal Loss
Shortly after I started using the Freestyle Libre 2 sensor, I began experiencing connectivity issues between the application and the sensor. Throughout the day, the connection would intermittently drop, readings were interrupted, and my continuous tracking was constantly disrupted. After roughly 6 days, the sensor became completely unusable and ceased operation entirely. As a result, my glucose tracking—which is critical for my diabetes management—was left incomplete, negatively impacting my health.
Due to the sensor failing so quickly and repeatedly dropping its connection, I believe the product is defective. I sent an email regarding this situation to requesting a return and resolution via my email address (a*************@gmail.com); however, I was repeatedly asked for additional information, and no positive resolution has been provided to date.
To resolve my grievance, I demand that the defective sensor be replaced with a new one free of charge or that a full refund of the amount paid be issued.
Progress
I am using a Linkup Librelinkup sensor and for about 15 days I have been experiencing constant disconnections. It disconnects 20–30 times a day, so I cannot use the product properly.
Despite contacting them repeatedly both by phone and here, I have received no response at all. Being completely silent without even a “we will get back to you” notice has not only inconvenienced me but also shaken my confidence in the brand.
I request that my sensor connection issue be investigated promptly, that the necessary technical checks and updates be performed to permanently resolve the connection problem, and that I receive a clear written or phone explanation and a response.
