Hello, I purchased a ticket from Flixbus on July 5, 2025, for a trip from Florence to Rome, Italy. Unfortunately, just 1–2 hours after booking, I experienced a severe menstrual hemorrhage and intense pain. Due to the excessive bleeding, I was medically unable to travel and had to cancel my trip. My scheduled departure time was 23:10, and according to Flixbus's cancellation policy, tickets are eligible for a refund if canceled at least 3 hours before departure. I canceled 10 hours in advance—well within the timeframe.
However, instead of refunding the full $13.98 I paid, Flixbus issued only a $2 voucher valid until 2026. I objected and clearly requested a full refund, but all they did was resend the same $2 coupon. This is unacceptable—especially since I am not returning to Florence and the voucher is useless to me.
To make things worse, I tried reaching Flixbus customer service by phone but was redirected to Kamil Koç, who said they couldn’t help with international tickets. They gave me a German customer service number, but I don’t speak German and couldn't proceed. Neither Kamil Koç nor Flixbus has taken my issue seriously.
I made the booking through Omio, and when I contacted them, they simply referred me back to Flixbus. So now I’m stuck in a loop, and no one is taking responsibility. I never used the service and demand a full refund for a ticket I rightfully canceled.
